Here is my comment.
The unauthorized building works in Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying's flat has become the newspaper heat these days. Despite the explanation and clarification made by Leung over and over again, the media and some politic parties have no intention to let go of him.
Disagreement with Leung will not come from me since I am satisfied with Leung's elaborations on his unauthorized building works. The Chief Executive has a job to bring Hong Kong to a better future. However, making Leung explain one single issue more than once or questioning him in a silly manner will be meaningless and merely a waste of time. The time wasted does not just come from Leung, but come from you and me, and every citizen in Hong Kong! Giving the Chief Executive's time away means that the left for constructing a better future will become less. If the Pan-democracy Camp, who claimed to put the society as the top priority, would like to doodle the time away, then go on with it and have fun!
Some voices in the society urge Leung to get off stage since they believe that honesty and trusty problems are involved in the issue of Leung's unauthorized building work. But they do not seem to have considered this requisition thoroughly. What if Leung quitted and nobody else who is as capable as Leung does could be found? The ability of Leung to develop Hong Kong is undeniable so I would never regard it beneficial to Hong Kong to clamor Leung into resigning. |
